balloonfest

I've always wanted to see a hot air balloon up close.  Some friends and I went to the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest in Howel Michigan yesterday.  Here are some of the pictures:

So far I'm trying to commit to doing something on the blog at least twice a week...three times if I can!
Today I added the navigation bar and the link to the karrieville facebook page.

taking action

This is a test to see if I can write a blog.
Of course I can write a blog but as I look at making a blog I get wrapped up in the how-to and the what do I write about.  I end up with more questions that then prevents me from taking action.


So this is me...taking action.  I'm post on the blog...my blog!


No really, I have questions:
what size should the header be created at?
how do I get a navigation bar in there?
how do I change the font on the post title?
Is this going to put the date and time of the post in there when I click on Publish?
Are all the fonts going to match?
Can I just email some of my favorite bloggers and ask them how they do it?
Maybe I need to take a class?


I bought "Blogging for Dummies".  It's the first time that I bought a Dummies book.  I'm not crazy about the name of these books.  I would have named them "_____________ for people that don't know much about the subject".  Ok, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue but it's more accurate!
Anyway, not finding the answers in the book yet but I do have more to read.


And I'm taking action...that's the important part!
